The Israeli occupation army has abducted 339 Palestinian citizens in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem during September, a report by a studies centre found.

The Israeli occupation army has abducted 339 Palestinian citizens in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem during September, a report by a studies centre found.

According to the report, four ladies and eight children were among the arrested by Israeli occupation forces last month.

For the first time, Hebron topped the list of Palestinian cities where most arrests took place, in which 87 Palestinians were detained, followed by Jerusalem, with 85 Palestinians arrested; Jenin with 47 Palestinians arrested, Ramallah with 32 Palestinians arrested, and Tulkarm with 16 Palestinians arrested.

In Nablus, meanwhile, 13 arrests were reported, followed by Salfit, with 11 arrests; Jericho five arrests, and Qalqilia four arrests.

Two Palestinians only abducted by Israeli occupation forces in Tubas and two others in the Gaza Strip.

Over the past month, Israeli occupation forces arrested four Palestinian women, two from Hebron, one from Jerusalem, and one from Gaza, the report explained.

As for Palestinian minors, Israeli occupation troops kidnapped two children from Salfit, two others from Hebron and Jerusalem, one from Ramallah, and another one from Qalqilia.
