The Israeli occupation authorities have issued demolition, seizure, or eviction notices against 81 Palestinian properties in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem over the past month, a human rights group found.

In its report, the NGO pointed out that 36 Palestinian structures were knocked down last month, including two self-demolished by their owners after being threatened to pay exorbitant fines for the Israeli occupation authorities.

The Israeli occupation army took over two Palestinian structures and delivered demolition, seizure, or eviction notices against notices against 43 others, the group added.

Most of these structures, the human rights organisation continued, are residential, while the rest of them are educational, commercial, agricultural, entertainment, and medical facilities. 

Jerusalem has seen the highest number of Palestinian structures demolished by the Israeli occupation army in October, where 18 structures were razed, followed by Bethlehem and Hebron, with 11 and 10 structures respectively, the advocacy group explained.

The rights organisation demonstrated that at least 110 Palestinian citizens, mostly women and children, were affected by such demolitions over the past month.
