Israeli occupation forces (IOF) raided the occupied West Bank city of Jenin, fatally shot a teenage girl while standing on the rooftop of her home, wounded a young man, and detained three others.

According to local sources, undercover Israeli occupation forces, escorted by many armoured military vehicles, invaded Jenin late Sunday evening.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health said the occupying forces shot dead 16-year-old Palestinian girl Jana Zakarneh after sniping her with a live round in the head.

The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas mourned Zakarneh and reiterated that targeting Palestinian children is a “heinous crime” that would not go unnoticed.
